Classic Rice Kheer
(Noor-E-Jannat Rice ki Kheer)

Ingredients:

 
  • 1/4 cup basmati rice

  • 1 litre full-cream milk

  • 3–4 tbsp sugar (as per taste)

  • 4–5 chopped almonds & cashews

  • 6–8 raisins

  • 2 green cardamoms (crushed)

  • 1 tsp ghee (optional)

Method:

  • Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes.

  • Boil milk in a heavy-bottom pan.

  • Add soaked rice and cook on low flame

  • Stir occasionally until rice becomes soft and milk thickens.

  • Add sugar, dry fruits, and cardamom.

  • Cook for another 5–7 minutes.

  • Serve hot or chilled.
